말레이시아에서 온 유학생 아신은 대만에서 공부하며 21번째 생일을 맞이하던 날, 3년 전 21세의 나이로 세상을 떠난 오빠를 만나게 된다. 이 생일 이후로 아신은 영원히 오빠보다 나이가 많아지게 된다. 사랑하는 이를 잃은 슬픔과 고향으로 돌아갈 수 없다는 무력감, 그리고 외국에서 느끼는 소외감에 힘들어하던 아신은 그날 밤 오빠와 대화를 나눈다. 이 과정에서 아신은 21년 전, 아버지 역시 대만에서 홀로 일했던 시절이 있었음을 알게 된다. 아신은 오빠와 함께 아버지의 발자취를 따라가기로 결심하고, 이를 통해 오빠의 죽음을 받아들이려 한다.
On her 21st birthday, Ah Xin, a Malaysian student studying in Taiwan, encounters her brother, who had passed away three years ago at the age of 21. After this birthday, Ah Xin will forever be older than her brother. Struggling with the pain of losing a loved one, the inability to return home, and a sense of not belonging in a foreign land, Ah Xin has a conversation with her brother that night. She unexpectedly discovers that their father had also spent some time working alone in Taiwan 21 years ago. Ah Xin decides to join her brother in retracing their father's steps in Taiwan, hoping this journey will help her come to terms with her brother's death.

I want to convey my current state, my father's past, my thoughts on my deceased brother, the homesickness of living between two places, and the longing of the living for those who have passed away through this short film.
